I will always support law enforcement. We must equip police agencies with the tools and resources they need to hire more officers from the area so that they can do their jobs right and rebuild trust with all communities. I do not support defunding the police. We need to work together and make investments to help people feel safe where they live, including police, community members, and organizations.

Our community is facing issues with substance abuse disorder, rising crime, domestic violence, and the fentanyl crisis. Local law enforcement and local governments need more resources to combat these crises, and I will work hard to help bring additional resources to our region.
