Helping veterans is not a partisan issue – it’s something that we all should do as Americans. Our freedom is directly tied to these brave men and women who have served our country.

We must ensure that military service members returning to civilian life have the help and support they need—access to affordable housing, educational opportunities, and mental health services are at the top of the list. The state must do more to support veterans’ unique needs.
